My name is Jan Shivers Richmond and my first dealing with a boykin spaniel was after moving from Alabama to South Carolina in 1963. My stepmother had a wonderful little brown dog she called "Fudge."Since that time,Boykins have always been part of my family.

My husband Taz(Patrick) and I have been breeding quality Boykin spaniels since the mid-nineties. Our dogs are first and foremost members of the family as well as great retrievers and water dogs.

The dogs that we breed are OFA hip certified,OFA heart certified and eyes  checked clear as part of CERF.

We are located in Wedgefield,South Carolina on 15 acres in a log home bordered on 2 sides by Manchester State Forest. We are just down the road from Boykin SC, an area outside of Camden where the breed originated. We are located 35 miles east of Columbia,South Carolina near Sumter and Shaw afb.

We are lifetime members in good standing with the BOYKIN SPANIEL SOCIETY. We support them as the OFFICIAL REGISTRY OF THE BOYKIN SPANIEL.

All of our dogs are at home whether in the house or outside retrieving.
